Article content On Thursday, the company issued a statement about coronavirus and called it "deeply troubling".



"Whenever there is an outbreak of disease there is an increase in players, as people seek to learn more about how the disease spreads and to be aware of the complexity of viral outbreaks," the statement reads.



China claims that the new coronavirus has infected more than 2700 people and killed 81 people.



The company advised users not to rely on the accuracy of the game as it depicts how the coronavirus spreads and instead offered the World Health Organization.



The statement said that Plague Inc. was a game and not a scientific model. "However keep in mind that Plague Inc. is real and very real and affects many people." "We strongly recommend that players seek out their information directly from local and international health authorities.
